Faiz "Prayer"

Faiz' poem titled "Prayer" was an extremely powerful poem as it illustrated the truth and beauty of praying. Faiz describes the power of prayer as the "Truth 's potent word that keeps prickling the heart like a thorn." Faiz emphasizes the role of tradition along with the value of prayer to emphazise how important it is to recognize its' power.
